During the drills, we worked with fire, emergency, traffic and environmental monitoring departments to simulate the fire suppression, oil pipe leaking stoppage, emergency rescue, high-definition aerial monitoring, oil outlet cleaning up and so on, up to 10 items. Nearly 200 personnel from emergency office, economic and trade information committee, departments of Dapeng district administrative committee, communities and enterprises watched the scene. As a member of Guanghui petroleum east joint defence, on hearing the emergency alarm from oil depot, our professional team arrived at the scene immediately with cleaning equipment and placed oil booms at the outlet of the oil depot in the first place. Meanwhile, the oil was absorbed with the help of suction linoleums. The whole drills lasted about an hour and achieved a full success to prevent oil spill and environment contamination.
